Lab Updates
SLWS recently participated in a field survey in northern Mongolia. The fieldwork was conducted in a forest-steppe landscape to support a long-term forest restoration project. The team collected data on soil properties, biodiversity, biomass, water quality, and habitat conditions. The field experience provided valuable opportunities to connect GIS, ecology, and environmental research with real-world observations while gaining a deeper understanding of Mongolia’s unique landscapes and ecosystems.
